Digital Technology is becoming a very important part of our society and at Moorland PS we endeavour to use a wide range of digital resources in our classrooms.
Computers, notebooks, iPads and interactive whiteboards are used as learning tools and are incorporated into everyday classroom lessons where appropriate. We also have connected classroom technology that allows us to conference with other schools and sites around the world.
We have filters in place to ensure that internet material found is suitable and students access information through their logon at the DET Student Portal.
There are many new programs and apps that are designed for children to use as effective and engaging learning tools, and all students from K-6 have regular lessons to how to operate new and emerging technologies.
